By using Lurk you agree to these terms. They're written to be read.

What Lurk is

Lurk shows changes in the public following lists of public Instagram accounts, and helps you compare your own Instagram data exports. Lurk only shows information that's already public on Instagram. Lurk is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Data sources and accuracy

Watched-account data comes from a third-party public-data provider. We work hard on accuracy (see How it works), but data can be delayed or unavailable — for example when a provider is down or an account changes its settings. Times are shown as the window between two checks. Lurk is provided “as is”, and you shouldn't rely on it for anything critical.

Acceptable use

• Use Lurk for legitimate purposes like market, competitor, and creator research.
• Don't use Lurk to harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten anyone. We'll close accounts that do.
• Don't try to access private accounts, work around privacy settings, or scrape or resell Lurk's data.
• Don't share your Lurk account or try to get around plan limits.

Your Instagram data export

When you upload your export, it's read in your browser and only username lists are sent to us. You confirm it's your own data. You can delete uploads at any time.

Plans and billing

• Paid plans renew automatically each week, month, or year until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay.
• You can cancel any time from Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• If you downgrade, accounts over your new limit are paused (not deleted), and you choose which to keep.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable for partial periods.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cancels any active subscription.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Lurk's total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way we'll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
